SpellsByAura — also known as Spells By Aurora — is a private spiritual practice for people who are walking through something. A love that won’t settle. An avoidant partner who keeps pulling away. Or sometimes just a season of life where you need someone to hold a candle for you while you figure out which way to walk next.

Every spell, every reading, every ritual is performed by hand, by me, for one client at a time. There is nothing automated, outsourced, or template-stamped about what I do. Your situation gets my full attention, in my own quiet space, with the candles lit and the herbs measured for you specifically.

Spells By Aurora, and how the name came to be

If you found your way here searching for Spells By Aurora, you’re in the right place. Aurora is the name I’ve always worked under, and Aura is simply the short form of it — the name most clients ended up using, and the one the shop eventually took.

Same practitioner. Same altar. Same hands doing the work. Whether you know me as Spells By Aurora or SpellsByAura, nothing about the practice has changed — only the length of the name above the door.

How I came to this work

I didn’t choose this path so much as it kept showing up at my door until I stopped pretending I couldn’t see it. Witches in my family go back further than the records do. The women in my line knew which herbs to use before they had names for them, knew which moon to plant on, knew when someone was lying without being told.

I came to it through love work first — my own heartbreak, then a friend’s, then a stranger who heard about me through someone else, then another. The work spread quietly, the way real witchcraft always does. People kept coming back, because the work kept landing, and that was how Spells By Aurora began.

My practice draws from European folk craft, classical candle and herb magic, intuitive divination, and the lineage I was raised inside. It is grounded, ethical, and deeply personal. I don’t dabble. I don’t perform. I don’t sell hope wrapped in glitter. I do real work, and I do it carefully.

Who I work with

How my work is performed

Every working at SpellsByAura is done personally and individually. I do not run mass spells. I do not pool clients into batches. I do not have assistants performing rituals on my behalf.

Your casting is completed within 24 hours of your order. Each spell is matched to your situation — the right candle color, the right herbs, the right intention spoken aloud over the flame. I cleanse my space before each working. I dress the candle. I sit with the spell until it finishes.

Before the work begins, you’ll receive clear communication about what’s being done and what to focus on personally during the spell window. After the work is complete, you’ll receive guidance on what to watch for, what’s normal, and what the next steps might look like depending on how your situation unfolds.

I won’t promise you a specific outcome on a specific date. Anyone who does is selling something other than what spell work actually is.

Real magic moves through free will, energetic readiness, and timing that belongs to the universe — not to me, and not to a marketing calendar.

What I will promise: honesty about what I’m seeing, care in how the work is done, consistency in how I show up for you, and full presence with your situation while it’s in my hands.

How long until I see results?
Casting is completed within 24 hours, but results unfold on their own timeline. Some shifts come within days — a sudden message, a dream, an unexpected sign. Others unfold over one to three full moon cycles, roughly 28 to 90 days. The deeper the energetic block, the more time it needs to clear.

Is this a substitute for therapy or medical care?
No. Spiritual work is complementary, not a replacement for professional, medical, legal, or psychological care. If you’re in crisis or need clinical support, please reach out to a qualified professional. My work walks alongside that — never instead of it.

Where are you based, and does it matter?
